In the year 2016 the Integrated Headquarters of Indian Navy is inviting applicants for the post of Draughtsman Grade-II in the streams of Mechanical, Electrical and Construction. Interested candidates are requested to apply before twenty eight days from the Last Date of Publication of Advertisement in Employment News. The number of available and applicable vacancies for the post of Draughtsman Grade-II is four hundred and eighty six (486). The pay scale of this post is nine thousand and three hundred rupees to thirty four thousand and eight hundred rupees (9300/- - 34800/-). The grade pay of this post is four thousand and two hundred rupees (4200/-). The post of Draughtsman Grade-II in the stream of Mechanical offers one hundred and ninety two (192) vacant posts. The stream of Construction offers a number of one hundred and thirty three vacancies to apply for. The number of vacancies offered by the stream of Electrical is one hundred and sixty one (161).
For the post of Draughtsman Grade-II the willing applicants need to pass the Matriculation examination or its equivalent examination from an Institution which is recognized. A two year diploma or a certificate in draughtsmanship from an industrial training institution or any institute of its equivalence. The applying candidates have to be mandatorily Indian. The candidates who are to apply have to be within the age group of eighteen to twenty seven years (18-27). The candidates falling under the category of ST or SC will be given an age relaxation of five (5) years. The OBC candidates will have three (3) years of age relaxation.
