Mode Of Selection ProcessThe applicants will be selected through Written Test or Personal Interview process.

Assam Public Service Commission awaits for various responses as it invites applications for its fifty six (56) vacant posts. Among them two (2) posts are for Inspector and the rest fifty four (54) are for Assistant Engineer. For the former post the pay scale has been decided to be from twelve thousand to forty thousand per month (12,000/- to 40,000). The grade pay is five thousand four hundred rupees (5,400/-). The applicants should have as the educational qualification a Degree in any branch of Engineering or Technology, preferably in Chemical or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. The candidates who will be applying for the Assistant Engineer post, must have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering of an Indian or Foreign University recognised by the Government or should have passed the parts A&B of the Associate Membership Examination of the Institution of Engineers (India) and must possess a certificate to that affect from the Institution of Engineers (India).

 

The salary range for this post has been decided to be from twelve thousand rupees to forty thousand rupees per month (12,000/- to 40,000) , and the grade pay is seven thousand six hundred rupees (7,600/-) . Selected candidates will have to work at Assam. Only Indian Citizens are suitable for application. The minimum and maximum age limit for the post of Inspector is twenty three years and forty three years (23-43).

 

And for the post of Assistant Engineer the range is starting from twenty one to forty three years (21-43) ( as on 01.01.2017). Interested candidates may apply along with their self attested photocopies of Certificate/ Marksheet/ experience certificate ( where necessary) and send these to the Deputy Secretary of Assam Public Service Commission.
